Tax deductions on mortgages up to 300 000 CZK

If you have a mortgage, you should take note of this information:

The Chamber of Deputies and Senate of the Czech Republic passed the amendment to the Law of income tax and Law n. 458/2011 Sb. It means that the amount of deductible interest paid on the mortgage loan remains at the same level as in the past years – 300.000 CZK. The maximum deductible amount of interest would be only 80.000 CZK from 1. 1. 2015 according to the proposed amendment. But this originally announced change does not come into force.
